Our Seaside Loft is a beautifully appointed, comfortable open plan space situated on the seafront in the Infanta village. We offer a peaceful, quiet and safe environment. You will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean.

Relax on the deck with a good book or take a short stroll to the beach for a dip. Explore the unspoiled, natural beauty of the fynbos in the area, the ocean out front and the mighty Breede river.

Enjoy a braai on the deck with a view of the sea or make use of the fully equipped kitchen to cook up your day's catch. The loft is open plan and offers easy, comfortable living for up to four people. Ideally suited to a couple or small family with 2 children.

The local pub, Bent Head, offers a small shop for basic supplies and a host of entertainment in season.

Where we are

Infanta is situated on the coast at the mouth of the Breede River, about a 3½ hour drive (280km) from Cape Town.

How to find us.

Take the N2 from Cape Town heading east. After about 210km (just before Swellendam) take a right turn towards Malgas and Infanta. Follow the gravel road for 70km and you'll be in Infanta. There is no access to Infanta from the Witsand side of the river unless you wish to backtrack and use the pont at Malgas.

The gravel road meanders along the length of the Breede River. Take it nice and slow, enjoy the drive and look out for buck, birds of prey and snakes along the road. Please drive slowly (max 80km/h) and respect the road and other vehicles. Make sure you have a proper spare wheel and enough petrol to return to Swellendam. Check your spare tyre before you leave.

Rates

R2500 per night for the loft. Minimum of 2 nights.

(+ R500 cleaning fee for the stay)
